Jerzy Piatek

He has more than 20 years’ extensive experience in the banking industry on European market.
Jerzy Piatek joined Citi Group (Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. – a member of Citi Group) in April
2002 in Poland as Relationship Manager.

Later, he moved to the Treasury and Trade Solutions business to assume a role of Liquidity Desk
Team Leader. In 2007, he was appointed Head of Liquidity Management Services where he successfully developed
and executed a dynamic growth strategy concerning liquidity solutions and liabilities.

He held this position until 2013, when he moved to the United Kingdom, Citibank N.A for six months
to take responsibility for running Tax Collections project for Sub-Saharan Africa cluster.
In 2013, he returned Poland and Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. as Head of Payments and
Receivables.

In 2018 in addition to his current responsibilities, Jerzy Piatek was appointed Head of Digital Channels
and Data. After 2 years he moved to Citibank Europe PLC as Senior Product Manager. In his new
role he is responsible for managing EMEA Instant Payments and Wallets strategy.
Jerzy Piatek graduated from University of Warsaw, Poland as Master of Science in Accounting and
Finance.
