José Luis Langa

José-Luis is Deputy Managing Director at Iberpay, responsible for International and Business Development, since Iberpay was created in 2005. At this time, he was Managing Director of the Interbank Payment Service, the company that was transformed to create Iberpay. He has a solid background as a central banker after 15 years working at the Spanish Central Bank, including a secondment at the European Central Bank.
José-Luis is member of the ECB Advisory Group on Market Infrastructures for Payments (AMI-Pay) and represents Iberpay at the ECB Euro Cyber Resilience Board for pan-European Financial Infrastructures (ECRB).
He is also Deputy Chairman of European Automated Clearing House Association (EACHA) and member of its Board of Directors.
José-Luis has participated in several EPC groups, and he is currently member of the Scheme Technical Forum (ESTF) and the Request-To-Pay Multi-Stakeholder Group (RTP MSG).
He is responsible of the Cash Deposit Service in Spain, a service he was instrumental to launch. He has a strong knowledge about cash related issues. He has a long experience leading projects at Spanish, European and LATAM level.
