Sanja Iliev

As a Product Owner for API Banking, Sanja is responsible for driving API-First and Customer-First Strategies at Commerzbank. Together with her team she has been delivering more than 50 APIs, mainly in the Loans and Payments domains. Sanja is committed to drive the digitalization of various banking processes with the help of APIs in the online and mobile banking. One of the success stories includes the end-to-end online consumer and mortgage loan application process with APIs in an internal and external scope. Furthermore, she is also managing various technical software components such as extensions for automated API Deployments/Testing and Webhook as well as representing Commerzbank in the Berlin Group which supports the standardization of PSD2 APIs and Open Finance APIs in the European Union. Sanja started a Commerzbank trainee program as a post graduate from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management 4 years ago.
