Background bio ‘before’:

Wendt received degrees in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the University of Applied Science in The Hague. After completing his education, Wendt formed his own company, Chain Data, to address the growing need for secure data in the impending digital age. He has since founded and sold two successful international companies: Chain Technology, a technology resource provider for the energy, mobility, chemical and oil and gas sectors, and Golden Bytes International, which specializes in mobile messaging and concept creation for interactive television around the world. Background bio “established sector knowledge”: Wendt sits on the Strategic Council for Digital Identity in the Netherlands, led by the Dutch government, and consults for several international digital identity research parties. is frequently invited to speak at conferences and universities in the US, UK and the Netherlands—most notably the annual RSA Conference in San Francisco, a gathering of over 50,000 IT and cybersecurity professionals, and the Cyber Week conference in Tel Aviv, Israel.

As of 1 February 2014 Gijs Boudewijn (1958) holds the position of Deputy General Manager at the Dutch Payments Association. Before that he was responsible for payments at the Dutch Banking Association.

He has extensive experience in domestic as well as international payments issues, governance, competition law and fraud prevention. He started as an in-house lawyer at a large Dutch savings bank, and later became Head of Legal Affairs at the central Dutch clearing house, Bankgirocentrale, the predecessor of equensWorldline.

In 1998 Mr Boudewijn joined the Dutch Banking Association as Head of Payments and Security Affairs, and in 2014 was appointed Deputy General Manager of the Dutch Payments Association. Currently Mr Boudewijn is Chair of the Legal Support Group of the European Payments Council and Chair of the Payment Systems Committee of the European Banking Federation (also representing the EBF on the API Evaluation Group established by the European Commisison).

Over the past years he was in that capacity closely involved with matters relating to PSD2 and the various Regulatory Technical Standards. Mr Boudewijn is a regular speaker at national and international conferences on payments, open banking and related issues.

Previously, Anubhav held the position of Director of Information Security, while working at Wipro LLC. He was the global head for the cybersecurity and identity governance function, responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to group CISO, building teams and capabilities to support cyber risk identification, and mitigation to sustain business stability.

This role exposes Nicolò to several challenges every day, dealing with a highly competitive market and negotiating with third-party players such as fintechs and non-financial service providers, in addition to fostering the digital culture within a territory-anchored giant.

Moreover, in his tenure at Intesa Sanpaolo he has been working on the ideation, creation and launch of some of the most innovative digital products such as Parking (Parcheggi), enabling customers to pay for parking via Intesa Sanpaolo Mobile app, and the development of new APIs to streamline remote mortgage applications within the #SmartCities initiative.

As well, he took part in the launch of XME Banks, the new financial aggregator (AISP & PISP) developed by Intesa Sanpaolo. With an outstanding fifteen-years-long career path, Nicolò also owns relevant expertise in the Customer Experience vertical for Financial Services industry
